I came across this guys stuff when browsing craigslist last night for a TV stand.  I've don't think I've ever seen a cooler TV stand.  Not all of his stuff is my cup of tea, but very unique.

I like it.  It looks strong enough to house my 32" Sony Trinitron.

I spoke with the guy briefly.  I asked it he ever did a wider one that wasn't quite as tall for larger displays.  He said he hasn't but could do whatever I wanted.  I am glad to see real craftsmanship surviving in this day and age.

How about an easel for your plasma TV, so you can look all artistic and stuff.

Super rustic action!  I like the cart in the 2nd link.  The dilapitated wood almost seems too good to be true.

I am not sure if there's much being produced today which will serve as the retro cool furnishings for future hipsters.  Will there be a quaint iPad or Kindle turned into some novel object in 2111?  Hmmm.

Thanks for the find!

I see a possibility for a custom piece in my future...

Its rare to find a great craft shop with nice and strong stands. I've had bad experiences with tv stands with wheels though...
Not enough to keep my tv safe from my kids.
