Just came across it and Igor's work through a thread on another forum.
It looks like the original chassis is floated around the circuit in the Nano. Do you think the NanoMax has a grounded chassis as the biggest advantage?
The official page also mentions caps and bypasses, RFI attenuation, vibration damping and direct routing of the signal to the RCA jacks (and further mods).
