As much as I didn’t agree with Roy Johnson’s design philosophy I was always amazed by his candor and zeal for loudspeaker design.

RIP Roy, you will be missed  :|

Best,
Anand.

Very sorry to learn of Roy's passing.

He spent a lot of time helping me dial in a pair of his EOS speakers.

Here's two pictures of the Miro and Miro Monitors he sent me, that never made it to his website:

What a loss. I owned the Imago, the Callisto, and the Continuum 3. All great loudspeakers. And even though I didn't buy any of them new, every time I would call Roy with questions, he was always helpful and insightful. He was a true gentleman.

RIP Roy

I never knew much about the man or his speaker designs, so I checked out his bio on his Green Mountain web site, very interesting life.

A true gentleman indeed. Even though I just had the older Europa's, he still spent time helping me source new tweeters.(Morel) Then to take it even further, he insisted they pass thru his facility so he could test them to make sure they met spec. Always picked up the phone when I called and was generous with his time and knowledge. RIP Roy :(
