System Overview

Purpose built space for 2 channel audio. Mains produce ~110db 1w/1m from ~80->20K Hz. 30 Hz Bass horns built into the space produce ~106 db 1w/1m below 90 Hz. down about 6db @20Hz.

Vaulted ceiling loft space lined with Record cases.

Acoustic Treatment

Large amounts of R-39 insulation behind the upholstered backs of record cases act as bass traps and do much to quiet the space and keep reverb time very short. Rear wall millwork is a diffuser system and there are almost no flat parallel surfaces anywhere in the space

Listening Impressions

Room is quiet yet quite bright. System set up is still underway. Once set up is complete some additional damping will probably be added to tune the reletive "color" of the room.
