Finally got me a Nitecore MH-25(Niteblade)which you can charge(usb)in wall or vehicle.
Came with a 18650 Liion battery.
Have to say she lights up the night on turbo and everything down to candle light, very impressive.
Takes a bit of getting use to all the different modes unlike the older flashlights(on/off).

How are they? Some of the recent Amazon reviews don't look so great. (maybe the 2-3 of 10 I have opened drain more quickly than normal but I doubt it) I splurged and bought a couple of similar looking ones from Meritline for an extra $1.50.
Overall I don't like them because they quickly drain batteries. On a full battery they throw a wide beam are easy to focus down to a narrow beam BUT I've used them for very short periods and when I turn them on they don't work. Not a huge problem because I use rechargables and have a few spares ready but kinda annoying to have to find a spare and replace more frequently than I think I should.
