I spoke to Louis this morning...my new pair of Super 3 Bipoles are shipping this week...

I am excited as hell to hear these speakers...they presently use the famous 4.5"
Fostex drivers which Louis modifies to fit his design objectives...

Just as exciting is Louis's new finish which I know Deb will like...a very light
wood called Quartered Maple...simple subdued grain...no chamfer...
for a clean elegant approach...

The great news is that Louis is working on his 4.5" Hemp drivers which is
coming along...the wheels turn slowly in the driver R&D design phase of
things...that is quite alright...I am very very curious to compare the sound
of these fascinating speakers to my Open Baffles...I think I will be in for
a big surprise...

GOOD LUCK LOUIS IN MONTREAL!!!!!! IT IS REALLY GREAT WORKING
WITH YOU...A NEVER ENDING STREAM OF EXCITING NEW DESIGNS
FLOW OUT OF YOUR FEVERISHLY CREATIVE MIND...WHICH IS
WONDERFUL!!!!!!!

According to Louis there will be at least one surprise speaker unveiled in Montreal!!!

Drive carefully!!!!!!

Warmest Regards -Richard-

Hi Richard and Dan,

Many thanks and getting ready to head out to one of my favorite cities. I’ve been there at least 20 times and it’s always a lot of fun.

We are all exited about this show. Vinnie is showing the new 30-watt amp and he worked so hard getting it ready. The chassis is all-new and the amp itself is his own from the ground up. The surprise is the 4.5” hemps are making the trip in the XRSs. I barely got them in time and all is well. They sound so much like the Superhemps and the balance and tone is all there. Very excited about them and a lot more to talk about. They fit the cut out perfectly and the screw hole placements are spot on. Digital will be the Olive and a new source to learn for me.

Tommy is bringing the analogue and we will have a Schue TT with 2 arms. One 12” and 9” and using the Allaerts and Dynavector cartridges.

If Vinnie brings the laptop we can post hopefully from the show.

Thanks again,
Louis

Hi Chris,

You are not that far from Ojai...you are always welcome to visit...

One day while you are heading south you might think of stopping over...

Nice to hear from you, Chris!

Take Care

Warmest Regards -Richard-
