       Hi Guys:
                     Right now I'm importing a C to my itunes music file. I haven't done this in a very long time.
                    But as I remember it did not take too long to import a CD
                    Now it's taking forever. Any ideas how I can speed it up?

If it’s taking a long time to import a song (more than 10 minutes) from an audio CD, the CD may be dirty or scratched.
Try cleaning the CD, I use a banana peel, the sticky side to gently coat the cd in banana oil then, with a soft, lint-free cloth, then importing the songs again.
The oils fill some scratches if they are not to deep.  Hope this helps.
