I have been "collecting" many audio items in the very recent past. I have splurged BIG TIME....I mean SERIOUSLY BIG TIME!
I have wanted, for many years, to do a speaker shootout amongst some VERY desired speakers. I have never had the means to do so, and I'm not sure how financially smart it is to do now. But I'm going to do it anyway and have a blast in the process.
Thanks to some smokin' deals, I have purchased the following and will be doing an "enthusiast's" shootout, over a couple weeks or so, very soon:
The Players
1 pair ACI 25th Anniversary Sapphire
1 pair ACI Panorama
1 pair Onix Ref1
1 pair Onix Ref2
and maybe a pair of Axiom M3ti's for fun (not mine)
Unfortunately, due to several factors, I will not be attempting to organize even a small get together. But I do hope to share my listening impressions with this board as well as others.
After all speakers have had at least 20 hours of breakin, a preamble to the shootout and actual shootout impressions will follow soon!
