Stanley Clarke, Al Di Meola, Jean-Luc Ponty - The Rite Of Strings (1995)

A classic no doubt rocka. I heard a portion on the PBS jazz show sometime back. Went on Azon to track down a copy, &   :o . At least at the time it was outa my budget, given I still need both arms & legs. That said, will have to remember to check on availability from time to time. I 'stole' my copy of Chico's, The Master, simply due to timing. Who knows, maybe I could get lucky again.  :thumb:

If you like any of these artists, if you see a copy snap it up. A fairly safe bet you won't be disappointed.

Dexter Gordon "The Monmarte Collection vol.1"
Like many of the American jazz artist of the 60's, Dexter moved to a much more racially friendly Copenhagen.  Recorded in Montmartre Jazzhuis in 1967 on an excellent Black Lion lp.  W/ Kenny Drew, Niels-Henning Orsted Pederson and Tootie Heath.
