Man the conga playing on this record is stellar--Potato Valdes, Giovanni Hidalgo, Candido Camero--very sweet and complicated poly rhythms set into a swinging Cuban groove.

I first heard this at the used record store. After a few unsuccessful searches to find it on vinyl, I settled for a used CD. It's a stunning record. Highly recommended.

What a nice song "Heritage" is. Hadn't heard it before. Very sweet and nostalgic lyrics. Oh and the recording/pressing is pretty darned good on this one as well.
