Then perhaps you can answer a question I have about this disc ...
No drums on the album, but track 10, "Sunday", someone is beating something. It is an odd (to me) sound, sort of like a bongo perhaps, but more cork or finger-in-mouth-popping quality. Any idea what it is? Whatever it is, it sounds so wierd that  it ruins the song for me.

It is indeed a bongo, though the liner notes don't give any indication as to who is playing.  8)

Nice CB, got Five Years Later ?  I really liked both, though neither was particularly liked by the critics.  8)

Cool DaddyO, as so far they haven't released it on CD, at least last time I checked. Figured since you & r-a-d were smoothing it with Stan I'd throw one in the mix.  :thumb:

Sorry for the blurry photo - Sonny Rollins, "Plus 4". All you Clifford Brown fans need to get this one too!

Dang it! Surprised to find the discs missing from these two Jimmy Smith CD cases. Hmm ... Not a clue to where they could be at the moment.
A strange time as this calls for ... more strangeness!? Thus, for my next selection:

Perhaps I left them scattered on one of my recent trips to outer space? Sun, Mr. Ra, I am calling on your spirit to help me locate these two discs. I know you're up/out there, somewhere. Please help me in your own, cosmic way. :cyclops:

The Mahavishnu Orchestra ~ Between Nothingness & Eternity

CB I found a mint copy for $1. The album cover is a little worn.
