Hello,
I have recently purchased a second hand IDA8 with a BTR8 bluetooth receiver.
Previous owner told me that he has never used the BTR8.
I plug it, turn to the right channel and ... nothing: None of my device can find it(laptop, smartphone).
Is there something specific to activate it ?

Check that the BTR-8 is plugged into the E4 input (USB 5V, SPDIF) port of the IDA-8.
If your device's Bluetooth can't find BTR-8, perhaps the BTR-8 is no longer working (since it is a used item). You can purchase the new BTR-HD.  Or get the new WR-2 streamer (shipping end of November) that includes aptX HD Bluetooth.

Thanks ! Yes, i gonna order the BTR HD. It also seems much better than the BTR8.
What it the best way to connect it to the ID8 ? does USB-c to the USB ?

Connect it through the Nuprime Port (E4 input on IDA-8)
