I'm considering the Tube Active Preamp. I don't need volume control or switchable inputs, just a bit of nice tube-type gain to feed my Red Wine Sig. 30.
Has anyone compared the the TAP to any other tubed preamps. I'm hungry for information and comparisons.
Also, Nicholas, if you're reading this, what is the input and output impedance of the TAP. My Sig 30 likes being fed very low impedance (I'm now using the Musical Fidelity V3 Tube Buffer.) I'm hoping I'll get this from the TAP.
