Hi Alex,

That sounds about right - thats something that might be interesting to look at - see how many of each amp model we have sold over these many years.

Got 4b SST2 today Im a little exited  8)
See in the papers it was tested in 2009, thats 4 years ago !
It was a brand new unopened unit and I guess acording to serial 6813 it is the final version .

Sorry guys forgot to use my glasses  :duh:
2013 09/09 , in Norway we write in the opposite direction so if 2009 it says 09 at the end .
Sounds absolute sublime  :thumb:

Hi Xinon, welcome to Bryston! I have done an a/b comparison between the Devialet and a full Bryston rig I had before...I like to hear what your thoughts are between the two brands and what makes you switch? :)

Thankyou Larevoi.
I had a Devialet D Premiere for about a year and traded it up to the new Devialet 240 and had that for 3 month . I have owned almost all the Bryston amps before, 4BSstC ,14BSst2, 28BSst2 and they all sounded great . I found pleassure in trying hifi eqipment , so for the last 4-5 years I tried a lot of eqipment . Now I am back to Bryston, and I realized to get musical  pleassure I dont need the top of the line products . The Devialet is a fantastic product, but for me it is very linear and ultra quiet, so I did not get musical satisfaction unless I played very load . Bryston is very satisfying even at low volumes, also Bryston is tuned with a little more bass than Devialet and I like it :)
I got the Bp26 and plan on getting the Bda2 Bdp2 in time for a full Bryston Rig , and after that my plan is to only enjoy music and give up the boxswapping . I tried a lot of gear, tubes and solid state , and Bryston is one of the brands with sound that is enjoyable and fun without getting exhausting :)

Sorry for bad English   8)

Hi Xinon, good stuff and your English is perfect!

I only had compared the 4BSST2 to the Devialet and as good as it is I prefer separates.  :thumb:
