Title: RMAF 2011.... same room, same show, even better gear!

we'll be back in room 1030 with the Ulysses and BOW, (which I consider the complete flagship Daedalus system).

 this year we will have a First Sound preamp, the new SE version of the Modwright KWA 150 and hopefully a new statement DAC from Wayne of Bolder cables as well as the new Daedalus/Bolder speaker cables. these new pieces bring everything up significantly! I'm stoked!!

 other rooms at RMAF with Daedalus speakers

8009 First Sound room will have Athena's (maple, his personal pair!)

1010 Modwright room will have Athena's  ( wt. oak )

1130  Galibier room will have Ulysses  (cherry, his personal pair!) being driven by 1watt!!! tube amps  note last year he had these speakers there but they were NOT the AP, since then we upgraded them to be totally current with the AP crossovers.

that's my friends house, she just had the solarium rebuilt and I thought it would be perfect for some product shots... have to sift through the photos and find some good ones..

Hi Lou,

 May ask what your front end gear will be this year (besides your vinyl set up)???

And... I always love seeing gear/room shots with your speakers, and that is one lovely room! Another choice pic would be grate!

no vinyl this year, but Galibier (rm 1130) will be showing one floor up with his own Ulysses w/AP. his room is only vinyl and he will have some very cool 1W SET amps driving the Ulysses.


in my room (1030)  I will have:
 First Sound Paramount MKIII preamp
Modwright KWA 150 SE  ( may bring both as mono blocks?)
AMR CD77
possibly the new statement DAC from Bolder, if not then the new AMR DAC
Bolder modified Touch/ power supplies etc.
the new Daedalus/Bolder speaker cables

the only constant from last year is the AMR CD77, all else is a big step up!!!

I'll get some more pics up of the house shots later.... thanks for asking!

Wow, I'm really looking forward to hearing the room this year!  Maybe we can hook up for dinner one night at Pasquini's again :D

btw the guitar is one I like to use for photos, it's a David Webber custom 12-fret 12-string.
