I have a customer that recently purchased a pair of full Reference Bella Extreme 100 mono bloc ampifiers and before he could get 20 hours on them, he decided to move up to a pair of Extreme Hurricane MK II amplifiers.

 I also have some Elm Burl that can be used for the front panels of the Perfetto. Any of these woods can also be used for front panels on the Bella Extreme 100 mono blocs as well.

There have been a few inquiries on the Perfetto dual mono preamplifier mentioned above so I wanted to provide the details on this particular piece.

 The power supply is tube rectified, tube regulated and choke filtered and is 100% dual mono located in an outboard chassis. There are 4 Solen 47uF/400V capacitors handling the main PS filtering (2 per power supply). There are 4 Mundorf Silver/Oil capacitors, various Dale/Vishay resistors, Fairchild Ultra Fast diodes, cryogenic treated IEC and dual cryogenic treated silver fuse holders for 1/4" x 1 1/4" fuses (I will even throw in a pair of Silver Ceramic fuses) and much more.

 The analog circuit is completely hard wired on 1/4" Baltic Birch ply with solid silver wire. Coupling caps are Mundorf Silver/Oil. Dual mono DACT attenuators handle the volume with an ELMA switch mounted at the back of the chassis for extremely short signal paths handles the source selection. All signal wiring is 28 awg solid silver with cotton. Longer signal wiring runs are encased in Carbon Infused covering which help in making this a dead quiet preamp. RCA connectors are Silver with options for balanced inputs and outputs.

 Thanks John. I wish I could get a better picture of the Walnut Burl and Waterfall Bubinga. The Walnut Burl looks like a mirror right now while the Bubinga still needs a few more coats of finish.

A few updates as of 12/14/08

After spending some time listening to the Reference 801 Power Amp the past few days, I have decided I do not want to let this one go just yet No longer for sale

 I am also considering taking the Audio Note CDT-Two MK II off the offerings list as well. Not sure I want to let this one go either. Sounds so darn good, I think I should keep this for our reference system to use for voicing our Musica Bella products. We'll see

Sorry guys,
 I have had a few inquiries on the Reference 801 and then received a few emails about not offering it for sale any longer.
 Truth be told, the amp has MUCH more in it in regard to circuit tweaks than any other 801 unit that's gone out the door. Until our 3205 MK III or Purity mono blocs are ready, I want to hold onto this one. Once the other amps are ready, I'll let this one go.
