Input Voltage to the Clari-T
« on: 21 Mar 2005, 05:09 am »
I was looking at a Decware SE84CSP preamp and noticed that its output is rated as

Max possible output
14 V RMS - factory set to unity at 1/2 vol.

I was therefore wondering what the maximum input the Clari-T can handle safely.

Hi Jeff,

14V RMS is very high "line level" voltage!

I'm sure the voltage required to achieve max power out of the Clari-T-Amp is less than 1V.
