Is anyone else suspect that Netgear Powerline as an Ethernet solution introduces ac power mains noise into the system?
Reason I’m asking is that google Chromecast Audio runs off WiFi, but they sell a dongle that can create a powered ethernet connection, but the only way I’d use that is with a Netgear Powerline, so I wonder is this a futile chase for better sound with the possible intro of ac noise (I can tell that it’s a much more reliable internet connection and cuts out much less.)
Opinions welcome!
