Nice speakers...different with field coil driver

I actually heard these speakers with a fine SET amp from Line Magnetic Audio. They are designed after the old field coil driver speakers from Western Electric. Beautiful and sound very nice, especially the mid-range and human voices. Cabinets are exquisite. Here is the review of the Line Magnetic Audio 755i field coil speaker.

Probably should be driven with a pair of Line Magnetic LM-1 or 41.2 monoblocks !

Hey!

I first read about these in Stereophile Art Dudley's Listening...

Very interesting. I've never heard a field coil speaker system. I have to say that the idea of constant high magnetic field supply instead of permanent magnet make sense to me for home use. So, yes I'm very curious and would love to hear a pair myself.

Take care,
