I'm getting closer.
I ordered a power conditioner, the seller packed it really poorly and UPS destroyed it so back to square one on that part.

Got the preamp and amp situation squared away, now I just need a source.
All of the CD players I have sound terrible with the LRS aside from the Rega Saturn.
After hours of agonizing I finally sprung for a used Rega Apollo R.
I think a cabinet for this stuff is being delivered today and after work it's start to spackle and paint the room to put it in.
The only thing left to do will be a small subwoofer to stick in a corner.

Nice choice. I also like the sound of the Wolfson dac chips

I guess it’s been awhile then since the price increase.  I saw on one dealer website where the current wait time is about 20 weeks. 😮  It was about 8 weeks when I bought mine in 2019.  I don’t know if it’s because of supply chain issues for parts or if they are selling a ton of them and can’t keep up.

With a little bit (okay, a lot) of effort those little guys can sound tremendous.
I nearly gave up a few times but perseverance pays off.
I'll write up a little pictorial review once everything is finished up. 

They're much better than I thought they were going to be which resulted in a complete rethink of what to do with them.
Initially I was just going to hang them up in the air to make some noise while I fell asleep watching football games as I expected them to be pretty cruddy.

Steve - do you have your LRS's tilted back or straight up?  Do you use the stock stands?

Straight up and stock stands for now, waiting for Magnarisers to be completed.
Got some other little loose ends to wrap up and then that system is done unless I add a turntable a bit down the road.

Which Magnarisers did you order?

It's been a while, I think the MultiRiser Mk. 7 because I wasn't sure how high I wanted them to go.
That seemed to be the model that gave you a couple of choices.
