OK, I thought this might be fun... Inspired by a recent post, Im looking for the lowest WAF speaker you can think of. The kind that makes her say "Not in MY house" if you tell her beforehand or she doesn't speak to you for three days after seeing them if you don't. The kind that don't blend visually with anything. The kind that ensure she never sets foot in your listening room again. The kind that make her google divorce attorneys. Absurdly large speakers are OK but aesthetics only an audiophile could love count for more. Please post a pic of your nominee. Here's my candidate: The Sadurni Acoustics Staccato horns, which blends massive room space consumption with aesthetics that make the most understanding spouse mutter "WTF..." under her breath.

Hey!

:rotflmao: Man! That is not what I thought when I first saw those Vivid speakers, I thought they reminded me something out of Dr. Seuss' cartoon. Oh! my innocent mind

Great now I see them differently and can't get that thought out of my mind thanks to you.

I call them Casper (“The Friendly Ghost”) when White, but I’ve seen them in Blue and I always called them “Diva” (from The Fifth Element).

Casper and Diva are perfect descriptions to me. Well done.

My mind is obviously not as far in the gutter as it one was. To me, these look like they were stolen from a Tastee Freeze.

Yep, me too. Best not lick them though, methinks trouble would ensue.

I've read nothing but excellent reviews and comments about the Green Mountain line of speakers.  I made some serious inquires regarding them a few years ago but could never get past their appearance. Perhaps not the lowest WAF speaker out there but certainly did have that audiophile "hair shirt" look.
