i see why the show is free, embassy suites rates more than double the rates of embassy suites axpona.  i can spend three nights at axpona for $400 less than two nights at the florida show.

Nope, only for procrastinators like you who missed out on the show rate
No correlation between admission and Feb Florida room rates. No admission makes sense for a start up show, get as many folks there as possible.
The high rates are because 80 degree Feb days near white sand beaches, beats the heck out of the ice age weather elsewhere. I think parts of Niagara falls are freaking frozen right now..

It is always a gamble committing to a new show on the exhibitor end, but the seasonal timing, coupled with the region its located in and the fundamental need for a new show to shake things up led us to bite.

LampizatOr will have a heck of a room showing with Von Schweikert and Masterbuilt cables.

We'll be debuting our new Pacific (solid state) amplifier along with our Golden Gate 2 and Super Komputer.   Speakers will be the phenomenal Von Schweikert VR-55s with a Masterbuilt cable loom linking it all together. :thumb:

Looking forward to it.  Myself and a gentleman I met at AXPONA are sharing a 2 bedroom AirBnB, at less cost for 4 nights than one night at the hotel.  The hotel isn't the only option for accommodation.

I decided to book at the Marriott Springhill Suites a couple blocks away, much less expensive and I need the steps

Triode Wire Labs will be providing the entire cable looms in 3 rooms at the Florida Audio Show. We'll be with BorderPatrol Tube Audio Electronics and Volti Audio in Room 403. We will be with fellow AC sponsor Morten S. from Tortuga Audio, Room 308 and we'll be in Room 416 with Hugh N. from Angel City Audio!

Hoping to see many of you there!

Cheers,
Pete

Unfortunately not showing due to health reasons. Should be a great show as the organizers are really good people. Next year count me in.

Sorry to hear that Charles, get well soon!
There probably won't be a polar vortex down here next year either, so see you then
