Hey all!
I'm a rather new collector in the hi-fi world. I've always been interested, but I just didn't want to put together a system that I wasn't in love with. Needless to say, I've finally found a set that I'm happy with. Over the past year, I've managed to collect a few pieces. My current collection consists of a Marantz 6370Q TT (mint with the original box), a Marantz 2270 Receiver with the walnut case, a pair of Marantz HD 880 speakers. I'm currently putting together a second system as well that's, "for my girlfriend."
As of right now it consists of a Marantz 2230 (needs a recap) and a pair of Marantz HD 770's.
For my day job, I travel as a tour manager for musicians. Needless to say, I scour for gear (guitars and hi-fi) in every city I go to. So, I try to pick stuff up when it's feasible. Especially if the cost is worth shipping home, or I can fly home with it after tour!
