Raising them up in the air just raised them up in the air.

I believe Magnepan sells that oval base as an option for the smaller models, it came stock with the 20.7s along with some handles for positioning the speakers.

Thank you for the review.  Magnepan + MagnaRisers are a great combination.  You have stated in words what the MR s did for my 1.7i s, I just couldn't articulate a coherent way of saying what you have done.  Now I just need to order a pair for my DWMs.  Thank you again for a well written evaluation Mr. Ford.
