They said it was the next big thing- around 2008.

Adobe announced the phaseout three years ago. If the websites in question didn't prepare, either from laziness or cheaping out on their development budget, well... This didn't just come out of nowhere is all I'm saying.

Adobe want I uninstall Flash Player which I have bought in 2012!!

Adobe Flash is dead, long live Adobe Animate.

Flash has been a security nightmare, glad to see it get banned from the browser.   And no, most businesses with competent software programmers won't even look back.

But what does it mean for the home user?  What will stop working, and what is a replacement option?
Not a gamer, but will there be affects on news videos or streaming?

I suspect they will uninstall Flash at force asap this date.

Post #6 above say will be Adobe Animate, they want sells Flash(Animate) again to all the internet market.

Yes it will also many site use Flash to show slide photos sequence.
