We have at least six Beta units on hand currently, received from Beta customers who traded up to Production versions of the SWL 9.0SE.
We will be checking all units out, updating circuitry and re-selling them.
If you are interested in the SWL 9.0SE, but are hesitant to purchase without hearing it first, this will be a VERY cost-effective way to get the ModWright Instruments SWL 9.0 sound. The production units ARE better sounding than the Betas, because they are the end product of the Beta process. The beta units are, however, still cut from the same cloth and posess the same sonic character and high level of performance.
Pricing is still TBD, as we have time invested in updating circuitry, etc., but the price will be much less than retail for the production units.
