Need a component video switcher

Looking for a simple, cheap (<$20) but good quality 2 way (1 in, 2 out) component video switcher.  Simple manual A - B switch without a remote.

Can anyone recommend one?

Thanks, Bob   :D

If you have Circuit City in your area - hurry.
Since they are closing down for good, there are a lots of good deals to make.
They sell everything.....including switchers, cables used for demo.... even Samsung hard drive player to demo HDTV.

Sorry, I meant 2 in and 1 out.

Should mention this is for HDTV so want a good video quality switch....but don't want to spend a lot.  Switch is a temporary fix until I get a new HT receiver...so if the cost is much more than $20 or $30 then would want to put that maney into a receiver.

Also, I did call Circuit City and they're picked over.

Thanks, Bob

I'd say just wait.  Getting a DECENT switcher for $20-$30 isn't likely.

I agree with Bryan, if you want to retain a high quality High definition picture, you will want to look for a switcher that will pass a wideband signal w/o any signal loss. As you mentioned in a PM Bob, you might be better off simply replacing your receiver for one with multiple component video inputs. I would highly recommend looking for a used receiver on either Ebay or Audiogon. Look for a receiver that's only a couple years old at the most, there's lots of good deals available in todays market if you shop wisely and do your component homework. :thumb:

Thanks guys   :thumb:  Will probably just continue to suffer the inconvenience of swapping cables for a little while and pick up a new receiver.

Don't feel bad Bob, I'm doing the same thing at my processor with my Crystal Cable digtal cable from my Empirical Off-Ramp 3 USB transport for music to my M-Audio Rev 7 sound card for DVD movies. But then again, it's my 1 cable to your 3 cables.

Cheers,
Robin

Monoprice has one for $22.88, it has a ton of rave reviews.

I use a 4 port component switcher from Monoprice (not this model) and it works just fine with my standard def projector.
All their stuff seems to be high quality.
