using two outputs from a BDA2?
« on: 4 Jan 2025, 11:16 pm »
Hi everyone, I posted this question on another forum and was told to check with you guys. (Not really--I was told to check with Bryston but this seems like the right place to start.)

The BDA2 has SE and XLR outputs. Can I run cables out to my (tube) preamp AND a headphone amp? The Cary input impedance is 50k and the headphone amp is 10k.

I wouldn't run them at the same time but they'd both be connected and live. And ... I tend to use SE interconnects; if it's fine to have both the preamp and amp hooked up, which should get the SE and which the XLR?

Thanks!
