Selah Audio line array listening session
« on: 25 Jan 2005, 10:58 pm »
I have read so many nice comments about Rick's line array speakers that I am very interested to listen to them.

Rick would be happy to welcome listeners and I wonder if some of you guys would like to join me to Rick's place for a Selah Audio listening session?

Selah Audio is located in Garner NC ( 1013 Oakwater Dr. Garner, NC 27529) not far from Raleigh.

Let's start with a sugested date: Saturday Februari 5 th.

That date would be too early for me. I just received the new ribbons and have to tweak the crossovers for the arrays. The 12th or 26th of February work better for me.

I'll be out of town the 12th, but if it is the 26th I'll join in.

The keeper of the calendar (my wife) informed me today that my son has a Pinewood Derbyon the 26th. It looks like a date in March is best for me. I'll check and see what days I have available.

I just ran across this thread and would like to add my name to the list, if there is room for another.  I spoke with Rick via telephone about a week or so ago to see when I might be able to hear the line array speakers and, he indicated that he was working on a pair and would inform me when ready.

I'm very interested in listening to Rick's LS speakers, as I am less than one hour away.  March sounds good for me except for the ACC tournament weekend.

Sunday March 20th (2:00) is the best day for me and we can have the meeting here. If anyone would like to bring their front end equipment to test the synergy with the arrays you're welcome to do that. Let me know if you can make it and I'll put up a notice on my site.

I would make the drive but my new preamp will be here on Thursday.

Drew what audio clube meeting are you referring to? I live in Charlotte and would be interested in future meetings.

I would prefer Saturday afternoon, though I could probably still come either way.

Let's make it 1:00 on Saturday the 19th and we can go as long as needed. I'll post this on my circle as well. Please send me a PM or e-mail to confirm. Some of the online map sites have poor directions so contact me for the best way to get here.
