How many KWh a month do you use?

Of course the size of the space, amount of family members will change the results but I'm just curious to know what people use.

I'll start.
Last month I used 1375 KWh.

It usually triples in the really hot (June-Aug) summer months.

It all depends on the number of cables and BUSSes that I am doing a 'pre-burn' on

Last month it was 912KWh

Just looked at the last 12 months and the range was 1600 to 2600 per month. The higher end of the range occurring during the summer months.

Seems Iam the more ecological til now, I spend 80 to 160kW per month, but I run 220V.

I use 2-2.5 KWH per month. Of course as I live off the grid I have a very efficient house.

The last 12 months average 959KWH. A high at 1296 and a low of 800. It is just my wife and I. The system is on 24/7. The amps are Mccormack DNA-1 monoblock idle at about 160 watts.The poster that is off the grid please tell us more. Where you live? Are you using the sun or the wind? Has it been trouble free what about preventive maintenance? Very interesting thread. Hope to hear from many more posters.

2100kWh summer peak, 800kWh winter low. Our power is dirt cheap here (League City, TX), so our peak bill is around $200 and drops to about $85 in the winter. Our new 100% "Go green" renewable plan kicks in this month and should drop those by about 20%. Next year's monthly winter bill will be less than one tank of gas for my wife's Volvo

323 kWh. for the month of March. Probably 25-30% more in summer.
My NYC 'Cave' is small and cozy.

I always check to see if I used less than the same time the previous year, and mostly I do use less. The actual energy I use cost me about $30., however the cost to get it to my apt is a whopping $58.

Figure that out.

We try to break even with respect to solar generation of power, which we have had for about a year.

Before Federal and CA State tax breaks and rebates, about $35K. After these, net $21K. It will take us about 7 years to break even.
