Bill,

I think you spend more time at DD than at home  A nice haul :)

I was in Reno this week and made a stop at Recycled Records to spend the gift certificate my assistant gave me for Christmas. Camel, Camel and more Camel (Wayner, it's all your fault  ). Breathless is an import (Decca) and Rain Dances is a sealed copy. Mirage is a different cover. also a couple of Hot Tuna records and a nice clean copy of Yes.

Drove up Saturday to meet Bill to pick up his class D amp, and he also gave me the address to Record Connection, which was only 20 minutes away from where we met, so off I went.

A couple Jeff Beck items, a new copy of Abbey Road, and Fleetwood Mac's 'Hero's are Hard to Find'.

On way home swung through Lancaster to find another lp house Bill sent me the link to - 'Stan's Record Bar - and grabbed the other FLeetwood Mac album 'It's a Mystery to Me'.

the other FLeetwood Mac album 'It's a Mystery to Me'.

One of my all time favorites. Lost my college copy, wound up buying four others until I found a copy I was happy with. The percussive elements of Emerald Eyes are even more enjoyable than the woofer-blowing break in For Your Love.

I have so many of these recently posted LPs that it's scary, that is scary for you, because your getting very close to "wayners" collection. I feel sorry for anybody that thinks like me.

My recent purchases are all from a band called SAGA (5 more). I now have almost all of them.

They are a very tight band with lots of key changes and course changes. They sound like a blend of several bands like Asia, the FIXX, but with a more "popish" sound. Very orchestrated. They have at least one hit that I know of, "On the Loose" from the LP Worlds Apart. I also very much like the LP "Behavior" with a very nice tune "You and the Night" being one of the best. Vocals are excellent (no screaming) and the guy can actually sing. Another Canadian band.

Laura,

You need to finish out your Camel collection. Unfortunately, the last 4 are not on LP. They are:

Rajaz
Dust and Dreams (based on the novel Grapes of Wrath)
Harbor of Tears
A Nod and a Wink

These are all available from the Camel website. I also suggest the live recording Coming of Age.

In honor of National Record Store Day and to help my friend Bob stay in business  I just couldn't leave 4000 Holes without these:

The David Gilmour vinyls are bootlegs I am told. sorry about the CD, not out in vinyl yet. The 7" are an Elvis Costello and the Attractions from the Hollywood Bowl and the Jakob Dylan is from the new CD. Can't wait to listen to Neil Young's Dreamin' Man Live :thumb:
