Yeah!  Waiting for mine, how does it sound?

I think you will like it. MoFi did a nice job on all of the Dylan 45 rpm

Toni,

Eloy looks interesting. I am not familiar with their music. Wikipedia compares them to bands I like--Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Yes & Camel--so maybe I should give them a listen.

As Laura says, looks, and from the samples, sounds interesting. Will have to check them out Toni.  :thumb:

Hi Laura,

the 3 Eloy albums I posted are the "pink floydish" ones.
Take the original German pressings -
You can find them at discogs.
SQ is fantastic.

I know, I've posted this before, but to me it deserves multiple encores: 1970's "If Only I Could Remember My Name" with David Crosby and friends (Atlantic).  Friends include members of San Francisco, Berkeley and L.A. bands and a couple of Canucks from the day that you will recognize.  Dunno how Crosby pulled this off with Atlantic.  They must have given him carte blanche cause commercialism is out the window.  The lyrics are 60's mind blown sentimental the exception being "Cowboy Movie" which is a fantasy with some of the most involving playing from multiple sources.  Do turn it up and the let the instrumental textures slay you.  Listen into the choruses for Mitchell, Slick, and Nicolet Larson on the reverse side.  Damn, this is a good production and a good performance album.  Ten stars.  Something will make you a believer.  Maybe it's just my system, but analog kills digital in this instance.

Now, if I could only remember where my original copy is ... last spin was in February. Still one of my favorites, after all the years.

I recently learned something surprising about this recording. It's on the Pope's official list of top 10 pop albums of all times, second only to Revolver. Undoubtedly the inclusion of IICORMN on the Holy See and Hear list was due to the tireless lobbying efforts of the Archbishop of Texas, most reverend Bishop James Goulding. The Pope's no dope.

"The album gained new recognition in 2010 when it was listed second on the Vatican's "Top 10 Pop Albums of All Time" as published in the official newspaper of the Holy See, L'Osservatore Romano.[5]
