Johnny Cash  ‎– American III: Solitary Man

Hey Bill, I hope Cash is acceptable in your thread, especially since I have 2 more from this series.

Hi Gene,

Camel was a late acquisition of mine. Wayner's posts encouraged me to give it a try. I own several Camel Records. Good stuff.

Laura -

And it was your and others' posts about Camel that piqued my interest, I'd never heard them prior to buying 6 of their albums.

If the others are as good as Moonmadness then I'm a new fan.

MOBILE FIDELITY
Jefferson Airplane - Surrealistic Pillow (Numbered Limited Edition 180g 45rpm Mono Vinyl 2LP)  ships 10/30

Yowzah, this should be great since the Sundazed one was rather disappointing.

Phil,

thanks for posting. I had not looked at my music direct email and didn't know this was coming. My favorite JA album, although I like all of them. I have an original stereo pressing. Wished I had the Mono, and soon I will. Your posting inspired me to give this a listen. Great album.

Love Camel!  I saw them in '74 when the "Mirage" lp was released. Latimer & company were great that evening to say the least!

CB I didn't realize that the Colosseum II LP was not really a rock album but more a Jazz fusion LP

Do you have it..?????

I don't have it . . . yet. It's certainly on my list. They were a progressive jazz/rock fusion band and prior to that Jon Hiseman formed the group "Tempest" which had Allan Holdsworh on guitar. (which I have). Hiseman was a great drummer that also played with John Mayall and others in the 60's. Good stuff!

Good to see ya brother!   :thumb:
