Ray Manzarek Carmina Burana, yup, it's vinyl and yup, it's rock and roll.I win the prize now, don't I P-Man? I mean, I had to dig really deep for this one.Cheers,KP
Ray Manzarek ~ Carmina Burana
P-Man, as I have said elsewhere many many thanks for getting me back to my vinyl, oddly enough I just came back from picking up the Analogue Productions 45RPM versions of the first two Doors Albums and wondered if any Ray Manzarek had shown up on your rock and roll vinyl pages and there it was. I have two of which I am fonder of one more than the other but they are both good, this one is great with Ray intoning in semi-fake mystical voice over some righteous rock and roll. Hellacious version of Chuck Berry's Downbound Train, with Tony Williams on the drums, and Larry Carlton on the guitar.Phil
Does Ray actually play Carmina Burana, which would have been great material for the doors to steal from?
