Sweet CB      When I get to shopping I think his library is going to be in the top ten I look for.  :thumb: So much music, so little time & $.

Great album for sure. SQ is superb also, Cheers!

AD you're not the first person to tell me they've never heard of the Stranglers

That's a considerable history for any group, will have to check out some samples at azon. Obviously not a "flash in the pan".   8)

I've got most of his CDs. Just picked up his latest last week. Just one of those things, Joe's pickin' hits the spot for me as many others in his 'field' don't, for who knows what reason.  :thumb:

Evening jr (or would do you prefer just j ? saves on keystrokes & I'm lazy), call me AD, or JD, both are correct (if not accurate as well). I'm sure it was special to see him back then. Who was playing guitar with him out of curiosity if I may ask ? I saw him again with Buddy Guy late '90s I think, and he was still one hard working SOG. That show wasn't quite as enjoyable, while it was an even smaller venue, it was standing only. This was not known when we got tickets, first (and last) time at that place. It was a great show, but standing in one place for 90 minutes or so is not a lot of fun. Have a great evening & keep 'em spinnin'    :thumb:

AD,

The guitarist was Mick Taylor; right before he left for the Stones. I answer to John, Jack, J, sometimes JW and, occasionally, Throckmorton. I'm ok with whatever.

Then not too far down the road I need to head to Spokane. With luck Laura can point me to the 'good stuff'.  :D  I used to know where it was, 33 years ago, but it's changed a lot in that time.  :thumb:

That would be 4000 Holes on N. Monroe St., about 12 blocks north of downtown. Then I'll take you to The Long Ear in Coeur d Alene. Let me know.

Nice AD !!!!

Only one I have currently on vinyl. Obviously made the 'cut' during the electronic trans back in the day. I've since filled in CD gaps, but don't have the one you posted. Will have to check it out.  8)

I thought so one of my favorites. I saw them back up Uriah Heep in '73 with this lp and they were spectacular!  :thumb:
