Don't get me wrong. I like Grace Potter; she's a home girl, but I hope she's got this over-produced crap out of her system.

I agree with you Doc. I like her a lot, but much prefer her GPN recordings. BTW, she and her band are terrific in concert. I saw them at Red Rocks outside of Denver last year.

The first time I saw her and the Nocturnals, it cost me a beer. That was a long time ago.

Carole King
Tapestry

Saw "Beautiful" on Broadway last Saturday and it reminded me what an absolutely incredible talent Carole King was (AND it was a FANTASTIC show--highly recommended).

So I'm back home and listening to the record, wishing I could get the chills I did from Chilina Kennedy's performance.

This is the only one I have and this is the first play in years. I was never a big fan. I'll have to rethink that.

I know what you mean. I never listened to any Jazz and now I do.

Sorry; forgot about the no Jazz policy.  :D

Jazz stands for freedom. It's supposed to be the voice of freedom: Get out there and improvise, and take chances, and don't be a perfectionist - leave that to the classical musicians.
