Just bought that but haven't played it yet. The store owner said it has a Deep Purple vibe, not what I was expecting.

I do not agree with that store owner. Deep Purple is not someone I would compare to It's A Beautiful Day. I think It's A Beautiful Day has a pretty unique sound that was very much part of the mid-late 60s San Francisco sound.
