Well I'm at the end of what has been a long and sometimes tedious journey. I understand, now more than ever, why I was a Stones fan back in the day. The Beatles truly are a pop band. The Stones a true Blues based R&R band. And while the Beatles were geniuses, they never, ever made me want to get up and dance. The Stones on the other hand...
My set is flat and noise free. The only problem I encountered was a tight spindle hole on "Rubber Soul". All LPs should be made this well.

I understand where your coming from Doc. While I have all of the Beatles albums between Vinyl
and Cd’s I am certainly not one of there biggest fans, they were no doubt, musical geniuses and
I have enjoyed there music very much over the years.

While I would still love to have there new mono box set, I don’t play the Beatles often enough to
warrant it. I will probably just go with a couple of there older albums in mono to listen to and see
what the fuss in about.
