Jimmy Page remastered. It's not RL, but it is damn close. My RL is a little noisy so glad I picked this one up today.

^^ My RL LZ's are worn also. I'll be ordering those soon!  :thumb:

Laura . . . maybe you need to hear this next album. If you dig Zep, you'd have to dig this next one.

Finally getting around to listening to this album after receiving it a couple weeks ago. I always put off listening albums until that special moment arrives. I feel that it has.

Probably my favorite Sabbath album, but I'd probably say the same thing with the S/T and Paranoid albums also. :D

Hi CB,

I like Led Zeppelin a lot and have the song remains the same, mothership and celebration day box sets in addition to most of their lps. I never bought III for some reason but will pick up the new remastered reissue soon. My favorite is the untitled album (sometimes referred to as IV or Zoso). I have an original, the Japanese pressing and the Classic Records reissue. The Classic records reissue is terrific; I like it the best.

I'm afraid BS is not my cup of tea. I don't have any, don't listen to them, never did, don't like them, never did. YMMV

On the TT as I type this

Tony Iommi the lead guitarist and songwriter for Sabbath (the original guitarist for Jethro Tull) based Sabbath on 1950's & early 60's horror movies.

The next one is another all time favorite . . . .

Most definitely my favorite CB. The 1st three albums are all standouts. The only one I don't have a great fondness for is "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath". The last album to feature Ozzy on vocals was "Never Say Die" it has several killer tracks, Johnny Blade, A Hard Road and Swinging The Chain.

The new WB/Rhino sounded pretty sweet. My wife Jan is liking Sabbath more & more and she digs Iommi's playing. Not a bad thing! The JBL's were cranked way up for that one. I never heard "Never Say Die". I'll check that out sometime. The first three for me also. Vol. 4 is pretty good. I haven't heard "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" since I bought it when it came out, of course that one is long gone. The title cut was good, don't recall the rest of it.

I like your Nektar collection. I used to have a few their albums back in the day, I'll have to track them down again.
