I saw this concert tour when The Jan Hammer Group with Jeff Beck played Comiskey Park Park in Chicago when the fire broke out in '76. We made our way to the front of the stage to see the band right before the fire broke out.  It was total chaos. About 60,000 people attended the concert that day that was billed as the World Series of Rock. Aerosmith headlined. I couldn't believe someone would have a homemade video of the moment.

Nice to find a slice of history to refresh past good memories. While we could almost see it from campus was never inside the old Comiskey.
But then I lived 2 blocks from Wrigley & was never inside it either.   Opportunities missed.  :(

Thanks AD! I grew up walking distance (right down the tracks) to Wrigley and as a kid in the 60's after a game, when we didn't have or couldn't afford a ticket, we'd wait for the Cubs to walk to their cars and get their autographs and talk. Ernie Banks, Billy Williams, Ron Santo and announcer Jack Brickhouse were all very friendly and would spend time with us. To say we were thrilled would be an understatement.

Great thank you. How are you doing bro? Jan & I are sipping on some gin & tonics and the night is young. I had the idea of playing two albums of each band for tonight. Gives it a better flow rather than one to another. I'm easy, as long as the TT spinning I'm happy.  :)

Cheers!  :thumb:
