Jethro Tull  ~  Stand Up

Reprise

"We Used To Know" is my favorite track on this otherwise amazing record.

Boys and girls, if you are a Steely Dan fan and don't have this Robert Ludwig mastered album in your collection you need to make it a priority to find it. I'm not a fan of most greatest hits albums because they are usually just thrown together without any regard for SQ, but this one is an exception (probably due to the fact Fagan is obsessive about SQ). I read about this album on Analog Planet and everything Michael Fremer and others say about it is true.

Neil Young, A Letter Home. The sound is primitive and that is exactly what Neil wanted.

When Hendrix, Morrison and Joplin died, I just chalked it up to drugs, but when Denney died, after falling down a flight of stairs, probably suffering from post-partum depression, I was tore up and still am. What a talent that was taken away from us.
