Bill Bruford  ~  The Bruford Tapes

EG Polydor

[/URL]

The Bruford Tapes is a 1979 album by the British band Bruford, only issued in the US, Canada and Japan. It was recorded live in Roslyn, New York on July 12, 1979 and was originally broadcast on WLIR radio. Shortly before the performance, Allan Holdsworth left the band and was replaced by John Clark, whose name appears as "the unknown John Clark" on the original back album cover. The recording features live versions of songs from the group's previous two albums Feels Good to Me and One of a Kind.

Traffic Sound ~ Lux...........1971

Traffic Sound was a psychedelic and prog rock band from Peru. Founded in 1967 by Manuel Sanguinetti (vocals), Freddy Rizo Patrón (rhythm guitar), Jean Pierre Magnet (sax), Willy Barclay (Willy "Wilito" Barclay) (lead guitar), Willy Thorne (bass) and Luis Nevares (Luis "Lucho" Nevares) (drums). Freddy and Manuel had met in school and played in Los Hang Ten's. Freddy and his older brother Jose originally thought of founding "Traffic Sound".

200g Classic Records reissue. This is the British version without A Whiter Shade of Pale on the LP. Instead, AWSoP, is on a separate 12" colored vinyl, 33.3 on one side and 45 on the other. Also, the order listing on the back is not the same as on the label. This is a great sounding release.

Yes he does by about 3 times. I'm somewhere between 1500 and 2000, closer to 2000.

I just knew that sooner or later the conversation would get around to who has the biggest.  I feel so inadequate :bawl:

The Pumpkin and I have been at this a long time. I bought my first LP in 1959 (Buddy Holly Story on Coral Records), still have it and still going strong. I will have to admit that since joining AC my collection seems to have grown at an uncontrollable rate. :dunno:

I must say that for me, these vinyl threads are some of the most enjoyable.  I have discovered new old music that I either forgot about or was not aware of, and put them on my list of albums to find.  One of the great things about it is that, for a dollar or two, I can sample music that I might not otherwise listen to, which leads me to new music :thumb:

Here's to all the people that post here; this is a great thread
