Too much jazz in the Flock for the V_L......
Bob at 4000 Holes loaned me a Flock album about a year ago so I could see if I would like them. I returned the album to him before I finished listening to the first side. Not for me.
A lot of Flock going on around here. Either of you have Dinosaur Swamps ? As with much I used to, but do have a dbl LP with the 1st & DS, may just have to break it out in a bit. Too much jazz in the Flock for the V_L......
put on a female jazz singer and I'll be out of the room in a flash.
Me too with the female jazz singers. Especially the new breed. But, jazz rules musically and don't mean The Dan lol.
Always wanted to visit Hornschmeyer's Island. What CB, no love for Sarah Vaugh, Keely Smith, and their contemporaries ? Ok, for a change of pace (P-man said English Folk-Rock was acceptable)Fairport Convention: Fairport Chronicles A&M, '72, dbl LP

Ella, Sarah & Billy I like. Not the smooth female jazz singers of today. Their names elude me at this moment.
Which reminds me P-man, Laura haven't seen anything from Davey in ages. I seem to remember a comment some time back about his absence, hope he's OK and doing well. Heard anything ?
By Ella I assume you mean Ella Fitzgerald. She is much better than gawd awful Krall and Barber (I'd rather listen to fingernails on a blackboard than those two), but I wouldn't buy or listen to her. I've never heard of Sarah or Keely.
I'm in touch with him weekly and he and the family are just fine !!!!
Never communicated with him directly, but always enjoyed his posts throughout the vinyl circle. Good to hear all is well.
Laura I'd like to think I have an idea of what you like in music. I'm doubtful that you'd enjoy this.I'm posting this here just to show you the cover.
Sending you a PM shortly
