Great album although I've never owned it on vinyl. Only on CD.

Not on vinyl  now that really does surprise me with everything else you have on vinyl. I also have the classic records 200g reissue. Great record and extremely well-recorded. You need to find it on vinyl. I don't own it on CD but my CD collection is very small compared to my vinyl collection.

IIRC I had it on 8-track back in the day
I went through a phase in the 90's where I bought my fair share of CD's. I have several thousand now.

Frijid Pink ~ S/T

Frijid Pink (Parrot 71033) 1970 No. 11 in U.S
Frijid Pink is a Detroit area blues rock band formed in 1967, best known for their version of "House of the Rising Sun," released in 1969.

Their first two singles, "Tell Me Why" and "Drivin' Blues" (both released in 1969) failed to attract much attention, but their third 1969 effort, a distorted guitar-driven rendition of "House of the Rising Sun," reached the Top Ten on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 in the spring of 1970. This disc sold over one million copies, thereby receiving a gold disc. The track also peaked at No. 4 in the UK Singles Chart. and #3 in the Canadian RPM Magazine charts. The song was a "filler," using up time at the end of a recording session.

Hi back at ya Bob  Can't remember if I mentioned this, but I'm going to be in your neck of the woods in early March. Staying in Scottsdale. Looking forward to sun, warm temps, a little golf, a spring training game and some vinyl shopping.

Bob at 4000 Holes loaned me a Flock album about a year ago so I could see if I would like them. I returned the album to him before I finished listening to the first side. Not for me.
