Glen Galloway and Ely Moyal, who I know from Trumans Water, are putting this together. If you know Trumans Water’s early nineties double LP—Spasm Smash XXXOXOX Ox & Ass—you know the voice. Kirk and Kevin Branstetter were the heart of the the band.

Octagrape is working in much more melodic territory, focusing on catchy pop with garage production. They just toured with Sebadoh and are doing a few dates with Pere Ubu now. This is loud, messy, catchy rock that is easy to get caught in your head and comes across well live.
