45 RPM, 180g vinyl

I also have a copy of this issue and really love it. I see that you spin it fairly often. I listened to the original release the other day. The 45 rpm, 180g kinda of leaves it in the dust.

It really does. There was more music in the studio than the original release or the CD reveal.

I liked the Avett brothers album. How is the new Arcade Fire album? I heard that it is very disco influenced, which is not my favorite musical influence.

Mad River

Quote
Mad River was an American psychedelic rock band.
Mad River formed at Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio in April 1966. The band took its name from the nearby Mad River. By March 1967 they had relocated to Berkeley, California. There they came to the attention of cult author Richard Brautigan who launched the band into the growing hippie culture. They released an EP on the independent Wee label before signing a contract with Capitol Records in February 1968. The group's lead songwriter was Lawrence Hammond, but all of the members sang vocals. They released two albums before disbanding in July 1969.

Gerry Rafferty ~ Can I Have My Money Back ?

Quote
Can I Have My Money Back ? is the first solo album by Gerry Rafferty. The distinctive cover design was by John Patrick Byrne and was the start of a long working relationship between Rafferty and the playwright. The LP was well received, but performed poorly in charts and sales, in part because Rafferty had just left a well known band, The Humblebums. The album also saw Joe Egan come on board, and the pair formed Stealers Wheel shortly afterwards.

Emergency Third Rail Power Trip is the title of the Rain Parade's debut album, released in 1983.
It is one of the more prominent records in the Paisley Underground movement of the 1980s.

Bones ~ Waiting Here    (1973)

Quote
Bones was an American Power Pop band that combined rock with soul and Rhythm and blues, charting in 1972 with their cover of Huey Piano Smith's song Roberta. Bones was the continuation of the band The Peppermint Trolley Company, which renamed itself and chose a new musical direction, after the group walked away from their recording contract with Acta Records in 1969.
Bones released two albums, one on Signpost Records and another on MCA Records, as well as releasing three singles. The original line-up included Jimmy Faragher (vocals, bass, guitar), Danny Faragher (vocals, keyboards, brass, harmonica), Casey Cunningham (drums) and Greg Tornquist (guitar, flute, harmonica) Patrick McClure (guitar, vocals) joined the band for the second album in 1973.
