CB and AD you guys are spinning some great albums.  :thumb:

Finally managed to clear the pile of paperwork on the house desk while catching up on the spinning. I suppose one of these days I'm going to have to get a new camera, this taking pics, then downloading from the card, saving, uploading to the Album is a bit cumbersome. Anyway, more cleaning in the listening room/house office on tap, so will share a few more in a bit. Ya'll keep 'em coming, lots of great classic stuff there guys.  :thumb:

Canned Heat / Vintage

Vintage was the first album recorded by Canned Heat in 1966, although it did not see actual release until 1970 under Janus Records. Produced by rhythm & blues legend, Johnny Otis, the album featured Muddy Waters/Elmore James' song "Rollin' and Tumblin'" recorded with and without Alan Wilson's hard-hitting harmonica leads.

built to be played LOUD, and I am  :D

Cool TYA CB. Guess I'll have to hit the used store if only to restock their LPS. A Space In Time is all I kept when I made the trans to CD.  :duh:

Thanks AD! I pretty much did the same thing in the 80's.  :duh:

Closing out the evening...

REO Speedwagon:  A Decade of Rock & Roll 1970-1980    Epic

Prefer their early pre-LA work in general, but this is a nice dbl LP collection.

That 6:15 tee time will roll around early. All you vinylheads have a nice day tomorrow.  8)

:o  And here I thought I was the only Captain Beyond fan around here. Just goes to show you great minds think alike. I kept the 1st on LP (though it was a non-3d replacement I picked up, had an original release & lost track of it), but only have the others on CD. A reissue eh ? Will probably have to look for a new one on that. Enjoy the balance of your weekend CB.  8)

The reissue of Sufficiently Breathless that I posted is lifeless sorry to say. I will seek out the original. My 3D version of the s/t lp is awesome! Here's drool worthy picture. One of one of my all time favorite lp's. Nice to see another fan of this! I was going to go deep into my King Crimson collection tonight but ended up rocking. I love Crimson, especially the '73-'74 formation, but I love them all! Have a great one! Sunday's are Jazz days here. Hope to see both of you cats! Cheers!

This was the only album I ever bought two copies of. One to play and one to keep sealed. I bought it based on the cover when it first came out...took it home and played it and bought another one in case I wore my first copy out...I still have it.

Quote
Dawn Explosion, the third and final album by Captain Beyond, was released in 1977, and featured former members of Iron Butterfly. Original singer Rod Evans was replaced by Willy Daffern.

I have the 1st album w/ the prism cover but alas I don't own Sufficiently Breathless.
