Hi,

Wondering if ClearAudio's MM cartridge's needle can be replaced easily as old Shure's MMs.

due to an accident, the stylus was damaged.....

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.

There have been many users that have replaced the stylus on the Clearaudio virtuoso using the stylus from the Audio Technica AT-95. Your Aurum seems similar to the Virtuoso!

Too easy to damage! I sent my Virtuoso to SoundSmith and chose the ruby cantilever. Although I never heard the difference side by side there was a distinct improvement in sound. I was quite pleased and have not moved on.
