My sound is up close and personal, but not without what I would call a medium distance sound stage depth.  I am treated to full envelopment, like I'm sitting 6 rows back at the live event.  Imaging is so good I think my rears are on, but my 2-channel preamp doesn't allow such.  All of this was made possible by Salk speakers.

I've heard the mule for my new speaker through all of its iterations and right now it is pretty freakin' awesome - in the shop.

I can only hope it sounds as good in my room.

I finally mounted my absorption/diffusion panels a couple of weeks ago.  I put my SS10’s in their final position.  Yesterday, I reinstalled my after market power cords.  Today I got notice that my phono cartridge finally came in and they were going to ship it to me.  When that comes in this weekend, I will finally be finished with the upgrades that I started four years ago.  Reinstalling my power cords finished my digital system.  They even improved my backup analog system.  I am in heaven.  Nothing left to do but enjoy.  It is so refined, sweet and delicate.
