The new 9.5 and 9.5 subwoofer sound promising sound-wise, at least based on the proprietor's (!) descriptions but I'm amazed at the ugliness of the cabinet designs.  OK, the pic of the subwoofer is of a prototype, but still ... !  I'm sure a lot of us bought the drum series partly because of the great aesthetics.  Personally, I'm turned off and don't feel the urge to upgrade from my SM6.1's any time soon.  (Not a bad thing - for me, at least - in these times, mind you!)

Also you will have to be careful about pricing it seems - be sure to use  the updated list only


The sub is huge - reminds me of the giant cabinets my Dad made for 12" single drivers.
